Family Friendly Dinner Ideas

Today I’ve made a one-pot dinner,that we can all eat. Whether you are cooking for a baby,toddler,older child or adults,this is suitable for all.I will purée Amelia’s a little,just to make it lumpy. You can change the receipe to suit you,I have halved the amount of sugar,and added two apples as an alternative.If cooking for children,try and use unsalted butter,and season after to taste.

Slow Cooked Brown Sugar,Chicken & Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

2 lbs. boneless chicken breast
3 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut in chunks
5 Tbs. butter, melted
1/4 cup brown sugar (4 tablespoons)
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Put the chicken and sweet potatoes in a casserole dish.
Stir the brown sugar into the melted butter. Add salt and pepper.
Pour over chicken and sweet potatoes,and apples if using.
Cook on at 250 degrees for 1.5 hrs

Serve with Rice.
